Elliot Park
Elliot Park is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Minneapolis. It is situated near downtown Minneapolis and filled with many luxury condos. It houses many young professionals and has many hip bars and restaurants.
Longfellow
Longfellow is a broad neighborhood in Minneapolis that includes five smaller neighborhoods inside of it: Seward, Cooper, Hiawatha, Howe, and Longfellow. Its eastern side is draped with the Mississippi River and its north side leads into Downtown Minneapolis. It is home to the Danish American Center, Minnehaha Academy, Christ Church, and the Longfellow House. The area is filled with bungalow-style Craftsman homes built in the 1920s. Lake Street running through the heart of Longfellow is filled with hip restaurants and shops.
northeast
Northeast is another large neighborhood in Minneapolis that consists of 13 smaller neighborhoods. Northeast is also referred to as Nordeast, which originates from the northern and eastern European immigrants and their language influence in this area. It is home to commercial and residential buildings. It is a thriving art scene where many young individuals come to live, work, and hangout.

seward
Seward is a progressive left neighborhood. It features many hip stores and coffee shops. It is also home to the Seward Community Coop. It is southeast of downtown, bordered by the Mississippi River, and north of the Minneapolis Greenway.
U of M / Marcy Holmes
Located near the University of Minnesota, Marcy Holmes is a great place for student life. A nice mix of secondhand clothing stores, bars and eateries make up this area. The casual attitude makes for an easy place to spend time and not a dull nightlife to say the least.
